Panic/Duress Alarms

Fortress Security can install panic buttons or duress alarms to generate an immediate audible or silent alarm if pressed.

Panic buttons are commonly used to indicate a distressful or a threatening situation. They are usually installed in places where they can be easily pressed in an attack situation; such as bank teller stations, reception desks, or within the home, offering peace of mind to staff members.

When activated, they can generate a silent or audible alarm including immediate Guard response if your system is connected to monitoring. A panic alarm can also be generated by keying in a sequence of numbers or ‘Duress Code’ into the alarm keypad. Fortress Security also offer remote hand-held panic buttons which can generate a silent or audible alarm response if pressed.
